Lost Shore Surf Resort

After graduating from Edinburgh University with a Honours Degree in Business, Andy began his career in Hospitality with Malmaison as part of their Graduate scheme for the opening of the Birmingham property in 2002, moving to Glasgow with the group as Restaurant Manager two years later. He was promoted to Deputy General Manager 18 months later before taking on his first General Manager's role in 2007 at Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. This was followed by moving to the North East to open Malmaison in Aberdeen in 2008. After three years in Aberdeen, Andy's final role with the group was at One Devonshire Gardens back in his native Glasgow. In 2013, Andy took the opportunity of moving into the Resort business moving to be Operations Director at Cameron House, Loch Lomond. In 2015 Andy became Resort Director at Cameron House where he ran the Resort for 8 years until March 2023, overseeing the expansion and refurbishment of the entire property. Andy now leads the Lost Shore Resort Development ahead of its opening in Edinburgh in September 2024. It is set to become the world’s first inland surf resort and the largest inland surf cove in Europe.
