Following graduation from the University of Surrey, Graham enjoyed two years teaching in Japan, lured East by a fascination of the country's people, culture and food initiated during his industrial placement at the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam. His passion for Hospitality brought him back to London, working at The Lanesborough, joining the opening management team of One Aldwych, then as House Manager at Claridge’s, before his first General Manager role at The Goring where he remained for almost 9 years. His next role was as Managing Director of St James’s Hotel and Club before moving to The Zetter Group in 2016 as Group Hotel Director, overseeing the boutique hotel portfolio, the central functions and services and the company's Leadership team. Graham joined the Exclusive Collection as General Manager of Pennyhill Park in June 2019. The luxury hotel and spa is set in 123 acres of Surrey countryside, with 124 individually designed rooms and suites, the bar and three restaurants, including Michelin starred dining in The Latymer. In addition to a vast range of experiences across the estate for meetings, events, weddings and private dining, Pennyhill also boasts the 45,000 sq ft award-winning facilities of The Spa. A past President of the AICR UK and co-ordinator for the 2019 AICR International Congress, a past Chairman of the Savoy Society and with involvement supporting industry associations and boards, mentoring programmes and within education, Graham became a St. Julian Scholar in 2004, attending Cranfield University through the scholarship programme.
